The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, has reacted to the news that the immediate past Governor of Imo State, Anayo Rochas Okorocha was arrested by the commission.
According to DAILY POST, EFCC’s spokesman, Tony Orilade, in reaction to the news refuted the claims, describing the report as “fake news”.
He said ”Such report that Okorocha and wife have been arrested is fake news, disregard it.”
Reports had emerged that the former governor, his wife and son were raided at Ogboko and subsequently arrested while sealing off their university there.
