A Chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, and a former Minister has reacted to the invitation of the leader of of the Movement for the Actualization of Sovereign State of Biafra (MASSOB), Chief Ralph Uwazurike by the Department of State Security (DSS).
The former Minister in his reaction via his twitter handle wondered why the same DSS that have done nothing over the threat issued by Nothern Youths Coalition is quick to invite the Pro Biafra leader for asking Igbos to resist RUGA programme.
“How can DSS invite MASSOB leader Chief Ralph UWAZURIKE over a video broadcast calling on the Igbo to resist RUGA whilst a Fulani terrorist called AbdulAzeez Suleiman and his Arewa Group, who threatened the lives of Southerners with a 30-day ultimatum over RUGA, are walking free?”
Uwazurike in his video recording on Tuesday, 9th July, 2019 called on Igbos worldwide to reject the RUGA policy by the Federal Government. He also made it clear that the issue of Ndigbo won’t be solved by restructuring but outright dissolution of the country to give the South Easterners Biafra.
The video which went viral resulted to the invitation of Chief Uwazurike by the DSS to appear in person in their Imo State office on Thursday, 11th July.
