South Africa’s High Commissioner to Nigeria, Bobby Monroe, has denied reports of Xenophobic attacks in his country.

This statement is coming even after South Africa’s Deputy Police Minister, Bongani, Mkongi, was seen in a video published by JOURNALIST101 justifying the criminality of his compatriots. He asked; “How can Foreigners dominate a town in South Africa to 80%?”

He went further to ask, if there’s any country in the world that South Africa dominates the city by 80%.

But the High Commissioner, Monroe, denied that the attacks in South Africa are xenophobic and targetted at Nigerians.

The Commissioner made the comments at a media briefing with Nigeria’s foreign affairs ministry headed by Geoffery Onyeama.

He described the attacks as ‘sporadic acts of violence’ adding that businesses belonging to other South Africans were also affected in the violence.
