•Advices Middle Belt to join Southern region for political emancipation
The leadership of the Movement for the Actualization of the Sovereign State of Biafra (MASSOB) have applauded Southern governors for coming together in one accord to discuss and find lasting solutions on matters bothering the region, urging them to maintain the unity.
MASSOB, in a statement on Wednesday by its leader, Comrade Uchenna Madu, said it “acknowledged the eloquent and bold steps being taken by the governors of southern region of Nigeria (comprising territorial lands of Biafra and Oduduwa Republics).
“The governors unanimously took critical decisions that protects the political interest and future survival of Southern Nigeria regions from the subjective domination of Hausa/Fulani controlled northern regions.
“MASSOB reminds the Southern governors, mostly their Southeast counterparts that our people are solidly behind your latest moves of salvaging our people from the marauding Fulani terrorist herdsmen being imported from some West African countries to carry out President Muhammadu Buhari’s islamization agenda.
“The unanimous decision of the southern region governors in banning the open grazing by Fulani herdsmen and insistence on national dialogue have suddenly aroused and stirred up the frustrated anger and insensitivity of the northern leaders and their clueless President Muhammadu Buhari through Arewa Consultative Forum (ACF) that opposed the position of the Southern region Governors Forum in banning open grazing and calling for National dialogue. The ACF spits poisonous venoms against the southern region governors and declares war against the southern region.
“MASSOB encourage the southern region governors and other leaders to sustain the southern unity and brace up for the defense of their indigenous people. The Hausa/Fulani people are fearful cowards, they only depend on the indigenous people of Middle Beltan region to carry out their political, subjective domination, religious and economical wars against the Southern region.
The pro-Biafra group also urged people of the Middle Belt to join forces with southern region for their political emancipation.
“MASSOB advised the indigenous people of Middle Beltan region to unanimously oppose every external pressures of the Fulani oligarchy to subject them as political tools of waging war against the Southern region. The indigenous people of Middle Beltan region must join the Southern region in their quest for political emancipation from the subjective domination of Fulani oligarchy,” it concluded.
