Iniobong Umoren, a graduate of University of Uyo, Akwa Ibom state that was brutally murdered by one Akpan Uduak Frank has been laid to rest amidst tears.
Late Iniobong went missing on the 29th of April after she was invited for a job interview by Uduak Frank Akpan and will be found dead after 2 days.
Police said the suspect buried the deceased in a shallow grave after raping and murdering her. But investigation report by David Hindeyin suggests that the Akpan might not be acting alone.
Today, family, friends and well wishers gathered to bid the 25-year-old job seeker farewell in a very emotional atmosphere.
Umoh Uduak, the deceased best friend and the person that raised awareness about her whereabout said “it saddens her heart” to bid farewell to her friend.
“Guy, I have never thought of a day that I would bid you farewell but It saddens my heart that I have to do that today. You’ll forever be in my heart. Farewell! And for those that committed such horrible things to you, God will not let them go unpunished. #JusticeforHinyHumoren,” she tweeted.
