Former Presidential hopeful in the 2019 general election, convener of #RevolutionNow and publisher of Sahara Reporters, Omoyele Sowore says parks, markets, businesses, mosques, churches, shrines and schools will be shut down across the 36 states of the federation on the 12 of June which is widely celebrated as democracy day.

The rights activist said June 12 protest will be used as a legitimate means of evacuating President Muhammadu Buhari out of Aso Rock over the catastrophic failure of his government to deliver on their electoral promises.

Sowore with other rights advocacy groups have been mobilizing Nigerians from all walks of wife to join in the mega protest.

However, Sowore through his official Facebook page has urged Nigerians living in cities, towns, villages, hamlets and in diaspora to participate in the mega protest.

He said, “#June12Protest All Parks, Markets, Businesses, Mosques, Churches, Shrines, Schools are expected to close.

“Cities, Town, Villages, Hamlets will be participating across Nigeria and the Diaspora! Citizens must flood the streets.Keep chanting #BuhariMustGo #KeepitOn until Liberation!”
