Author and former aide to Ex-President Goodluck Jonathan, Reno Omokri has disclosed that Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of Indigenous People of Biafra was never arrested by the British government according to his source.
Reno also said that his sourced revealed to him that Kanu was arrested in an African country where he was illegally detained before being moved to Nigeria.
The Attorney-General of the Federation, Abubakar Malami said Kanu was arrested by the combined efforts of foreign security agents but failed to give specifics on which country the arrest was made.
Writing via his twitter account, Reno said he “just spoke with a top UK government source. Nnamdi Kanu was NOT arrested or extradited by the British.
“According to this official, Kanu was “almost definitely arrested in KENYA” and “it was an illegal detention”.
He said he won’t reveal his source, but he have him on record.
