Nollywood veteran, Rich Oganiru has been confirmed dead.
The actor according to a family source, passed away on Tuesday, 10th August in Lagos. He has been ill for months and just few weeks ago, a video of him soliciting for assistance on his sickbed appeared online.
Rich Oganiru’s flourishing career in the movie industry was cut shot in 2012 following his arrest for alleged involvement in the death of his wife.
The actor was arrested on the accusation by the late wife’s family that he murdered their sister by poisoning her.
The family accused him of ending their sister’s life so he could inherit her properties as she was reportedly very wealthy.
Rich had maintained his innocence stating on several occasions that he never had any hand in the death of his wife.
