One of the proponents of election boycott in Igbo land, Simon Ekpa, has declared interest to contest for a position in the ‘Municipal Election 2021’ in far away Finland while calling for blood in South East.
Ekpa, the self styled disciple of the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB on Biafra restoration has been leading a campaign that the forthcoming Anambra Governorship election won’t hold and encouraging the people to boycott the process.
Mr. Ekpa has been making series of tweets to support his campaign for ‘No Election’ in Biafra land.
“Reason election may not hold in Anambra and subsequently in entire Biafraland is because it is one of the many effective way to tell the corrupt politicians who looted Biafraland and use the money for election that their game is over. They need to feel the pain. U loose nothing,” he wrote on August 12th, 2021.
On August 21, 2021 Ekpa, who was disgraced out of Radio Biafra wrote “the No election in Biafraland will be activated by the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), starting from the Anambra election.
“The leaders in the SE don’t know what the electorate are ready to do. The struggle has entered AutoPilot. The Leaders from SE must learn from Northerners.
In what took many by surprise, Mr. Ekpa made a post (which is now deleted) that he has purchased form to contest for election in Finland while he abhors same in Nigeria
“Today, 23rd of September 2021, I have registered my interest to contest in the upcoming Regional Government election in Finland,” was the post Simon Ekpa with the accompanying picture, showing his nomination forms.
A quick search also showed that the man that doesn’t want election in Igbo land wants to hold a political office abroad and he’s the candidate 111.
Mr. Ekpa’s interest in politics after saying that “No election make the politicians feel pain,” is receiving the correspondent bashing as people have taken him to cleaners for his double standard.
“Bịa. @simon_ekpa
Low budget isi shampoo.
You asked for election boycott in Anambra, meanwhile you are contesting for election in Finland. Why don’t you boycott elections in Finland to get the necessary change you intend to fix? Nonsense!” @AfamDeluxo replied.
Another user @ronaldnzimora responded “This f**l is registering to contest in an election abroad but here he tells people to boycott an election in Anambra.
Leave the man alone. Not anybody’s business.
