Less than 24 hours after the collapse of a 21-storey building in Gerrard Road, Ikoyi area of Lagos State, another 2-storey building has collapsed in Osapa London area of Lekki, in the same state.
Journalist101 had reported the collapse of a 21-storey building on the first of November, 2021. Rescue operation is still ongoing in the area, however, 9 persons have been rescued while 11 were brought out dead.
According to residence of the area where the recent 2-storey building which is still under construction, the collapse could have been as a result of the previous night’s downpour.
