Indigenes of Delta State have paid a courtesy visit and Prayed for the former Commissioner for Justice and Attorney General, Dr Peter Adogbejire Mrakpor SAN, over the death of his brother.
Speaking during the gathering in Edjophe Community, Friday, various town unions, political groups, Youth associations and group of Ughelli South and Udu women collectively Stormed the country home of Dr. Mrakpor SAN to console him over the death of his brother and to Sympathised with him during the burial ceremony of his late brother, that took place today Friday. Dr. Mrakpor SAN buries his late brother today at Edjophe in Urhobo custom and tradition.
Mrs Beauty Egharaje said,’ Dr. Mrakpor SAN has the capacity to transform the state as one of the best in Africa. President-Generals of different state town unions who lived in Delta, said ” we are not a partisan association, Delta state has become our state, we need somebody who will redeem the image of the state, that is why we broke the protocol of our policy to take this bold step.
Accoding to him, Dr. Mrakpor SAN is capable to transform the city into one of the best in Africa as the women group leader said during her speech, but i stand here to be corrected that not only in Africa the world in general. Mrakpor has travelled round, he has the capacity, he might look young, but what is in his mind is beyond his age.
“What we need now in leadership is a digital age which Mrakpor possessed, he has the qualifications, he is coming to show his wealth of experience, Mrakpor needs his people and he want to work for the people.
Also Speaking ! Udu group women leader, Mrs Ufuoma Edewor charged the gatherings to vote against fatherism and people who want to take Delta state by fire by force “we have decided to throw out weight behind him because his competence and humility is second to none .
She further noted that, Mrakpor is a man of integrity and the best material that will take Delta state to an enviable height. And she further said the reason for these few persons is because we have heard rumours that Dr. Mrakpor has withdrawn. Dr. P.A Mrakpor SAN, the governorship hopeful, who said that they should not listen to them say! Them say ! Just as he Mrakpor expressed happiness and said “I am coming ready and prepared.” The crowd echoes .
“Mrakpor is coming by His grace not just as Governor of Delta, but the governor that Urhobo, Ijaw, Itsekiri, Igbo and Isoko nation will be proud of, because he will speak the mind of all Deltans to power.
