Ahead of the upcoming local government elections in Enugu State, Umumba Community Forum has hailed Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi for his unwavering belief on zoning, equity and fairness which led to the emergence of one of her sons, Hon. Chukwudi Ozoeluba as the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.
Umumba; a component community in Mbanito, Ezeagu south in Ezeagu local government, in an appreciation message made available to Journalist101 after it’s meeting on Thursday 27th January, 2022 expressed their profound gratitude to the Governor stressing that: “Indeed your Excellency, by this action, you have once again demonstrated your genuine commitment to promote and deepen the zoning of political offices in Enugu State, which to us represents a critical element for peace, development and rancour free politics in Enugu State.
“The people of Umumba will continue to remain indebted and support your administration to ensure peaceful transition in Enugu State come 2023”, the statement signed by the Secretary General of the forum, Hon. Amalu Callistus read.
They also thanked the Governor for finding their sons worthy to occupy the positions of Hon. Commissioner, Secretary Ezeagu LGA and Administrator, Ezeagu South Development Centre, adding that they’ve never had it so good.
Umumba Community Forum is an Association which comprises of the five Autonomous Communities in Umumba. The communities includes; Agbaja Umumba, Umumba Ndiuno, Aguobu Umumba, Isiagu Umumba and Umumba Ndiagu.
