Abubakar Marshal, lawyer to rights activist and presidential candidate, Omoyele Sowere have been released from prison.
Marshal was arrested by men of the FCT Police Command on March 4 2022 in his home for allegedly failing to provide Sowore after standing as surety for the activist.
An Upper Area Court sitting in Kabusa at the Federal High Court, Abuja, granted the bail to Marshal who was released at about 11:30am on Tuesday after the release warrant was perfected by the court officials.
As at the time of this report, the bail conditions were yet to disclosed.
