A video of kidnapped victims of the Abuja-Kaduna train attack has emerged.
The video obtained by HumAngle shows the victims surrounded by their abductors in a vast expanse of forest area, pleading with the government to act.
“We are the train passengers that left Abuja for Kaduna on the 27th of March, 2022. On our way, we were attacked and abducted. And between that time and now, only we know the kind of condition we have been in. There are mothers and toddlers amongst us. There are old, sickly people. Many of us are sick. We are in a very difficult and painful situation. And so we are calling on our friends and families, and the government too, to do something urgently,” one of the victims said in the video as seen below.
The terrorists had reached out to the Nigerian government, stating their demands before the victims can be released.
As at the time of writing this report, the demands of victims are still unknown.
A video of the Managing Director at the bank of Agriculture, Alwan Ali-Hassan, who is also a victim of the attack had emerged.
