The Publicity Secretary of Apex Igbo sociocultural organisation; Dr. Alex Ogbonnia, has dismissed the rumoured death of Professor George Obiozor, the President General of Ohanaeze Ndigbo.
The speculations climaxed on Wednesday when major online tabloids said the former diplomat is no more.
However, speaking to JOURNALIST101 over the phone, Dr. Ogbonnia said “he’s not dead, I don’t know if they’re wishing him dead.”
Asked if he’s sick, the Ohanaeze Ndigbo spokesperson interjected: “like every man and for someone that has attained his (Obiozor’s) age, its natural to fall sick but he’s not dead.
