The Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) has given the President Bola Tinubu-led government seven days to reverse all policies considered to anti-masses.

Meanwhile, the NLC has directed its affiliates and state councils to mobiliise workers, civil society organisations and other Nigerians for an enduring strike action and mass protests.

The mass action commence should the government fail to meet its demands

Confirming the planned strike, Ben Upah, the NLC spokesperson told Daily Post exclusively on Wednesday, “Yes, the nationwide strike will commence on 2 August 2023. We will soon issue a communique to that effect.”
