An investment banking executive and economist, Dr. Obiaraeri Nnaemeka has taken a swipe on the former spokesperson of Atiku Abubakar, Daniel Bwala for his recent comment on the hardship faced by Nigerians.

Bwala; a new convert of the Tinubu’s presidency in a post on X, formerly twitter, told Nigerians not to be too hard on the President because “food inflation is global.”

Bwala who’s throwing everything he has to get the president’s buying, posted a bottle of red oil with the comment; “This small bottle of palm oil is sold for £20 pound sterling, I.e 38k naira. Hair cut na 45k for london. The good news is that it is projected that global food inflation will drop by the end of this year. So cheer up my people.”

“For those Naija people in the US and UK cursing @officialABAT on social media, what they are not telling you is that in the UK they can’t wait to chase Rishi Sunak and in the US, you already know what’s up with Joe Biden.

“There is no perfect president or perfect democracy, let nobody fool you. forget the noise, your presidential candidate could have done worse

“President Tinubu is working hard to find solutions to our problems created over decades of Mal-administration.

“Let us have faith in our country and our leaders and offer solutions rather than insults.”

However, the Economist who was obviously miffed by the new position of Bwala after months of criticising the president, said the lawyer isn’t “only pathetic, but very very wicked…”

Continuing, he said: “Minimum wage in the UK is £10.42 per hour or £1,667.2/N3,122,665.6 per month…

“Minimum wage in Nigeria is N30,000/£16 per month.

“In the UK , the citizens do not provide their own power, road, security, utilities and good rail/road transport services

“The UK leaders do not loot the resources of their people, and then procure very integrity challenged jesters like you to lickspitle, grovel and insult the intelligence of their compatriots.

“Shame on you …”
