The member representing Ezeagu Constituency in Enugu State House of Assembly, Rt Hon. Chima Obieze has congratulated Hon. Rita Mbah over her appointment as member, Board of Trustees of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.
Mbah, who has become the face of Tourism in Coal City, is the Chairman of Enugu Tourism Board, was appointed on Tuesday after the 76th BoT meeting held at Wadata Plaza in Abuja. Former President of the Senate, Adolphus Wabara, was confirmed as the substantive chairman, while a former Governor of Kaduna State, Ahmed Makarfi, was appointed as the BoT Secretary.
In a congratulatory message made available to JOURNALIST101, Obieze described Mbah’s appointment as a product of “dedication, hard work, and leadership qualities,” adding that he has no doubt that she will excel in this new role.
“I am confident that you will make significant contributions and bring positive change to our party and justify this trust placed in by your our great party. I have every confidence that you will represent our dear state with integrity, diligence, and a steadfast commitment to the betterment of our party.
“Please accept my heartfelt congratulations once again.”
Rita Mbah is an Entrepreneur and a politician with years of experience having served in different leadership and administrative positions.
She was a former Commissioner for Special Duties; a former Commissioner for Culture and Tourism as well as former Secretary of the Enugu State PDP Campaign Organisation
