As the October 5th, 2024 Council election approaches in Enugu State, the 17 Local Government Areas Legislative Leaders, representing the voices of 260 ward Councillors, have united in their praise for Governor Peter Mbah. They commended his remarkable support for Councillors who have yet to fulfill their second tenure, granting them the opportunity to secure the Peoples’ Democratic Party (PDP) nomination.
In a communique crafted following their recent meeting on August 15, 2024, the forum expressed, “Dr. Mbah’s generosity has significantly boosted our confidence in his dedication to peace and progress within our community. We are especially grateful for the elevation of Hon. Ani Caleb from Councillor to Chairmanship Aspirant—a historic move that exemplifies a progressive administration committed to merit.”
