Dauda Kahutu, political singer better known as Rarara, has criticized former President Muhammadu Buhari, claiming that he \u201ccrippled every sector of the country\u201d before leaving office.<\/p>\n
Rarara, who became known for his support and musical endorsements of the Buhari administration, expressed deep regret over his alliance with Buhari.<\/p>\n
\u201cI regret supporting Buhari because I thought that he would bring reforms to Nigeria, but we didn\u2019t see that up to the end of his tenure. Buhari\u2019s administration crippled all agencies of government, they need to be revitalized,\u201d he said in a viral video.<\/p>\n
He also said the 100 days of Tinubu\u2019s administration is better than the eight years of Buhari\u2019s administration.<\/p>\n
Regarding the appointment of ministers in Tinubu\u2019s government, Rarara stated that he should be consulted before appointments were made.<\/p>\n
He said that if he is not appointed as a minister, he should at least be part of the selection process.<\/p>\n
\u201cIf I am not given the position of minister, then it should be said that I was called and sat down with me, then those who will be given the positions of ministers were chosen with me,\u201d said Rarara.<\/p>\n
He said the enemies of Tinubu had been appointed to various positions in his government.<\/p>\n
Rarara asserted that former governors Aminu Masari of Katsina and Abdullahi Ganduje of Kano were the only ones who contributed as much as he did to the success of Tinubu in the North.<\/p>\n
