The presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP) in the 2023 election, Peter Obi, has disclosed that he held a meeting with the party\u2019s 2024 gubernatorial candidate in Edo State, Olumide Akpata.<\/p>\n
In a post shared via his official X handle on Thursday, the former Governor of Anambra State revealed the details of their interaction.<\/p>\n
Obi stated that their discussions were highly productive and fruitful, extending his best wishes to Akpata for his gubernatorial ambition.<\/p>\n
Furthermore, the LP flagbearer pledged to maintain unity with Akpata as they collectively strive towards the advancement of the new Nigeria.<\/p>\n
He wrote: \u201cYesterday, I met with my dear younger brother and gubernatorial candidate of the Labour Party in Edo State, @OlumideAkpata, and had very productive and fruitful discussions.
