The official results of the recall exercise of a senator, Dino Melaye, has been concluded and has failed.
The final results of the verification exercise show that less than 10 per cent of those who signed the recall letter to INEC were verified.
Of the 189,870 signatories, only 18,742 were verified after Saturday’s exercise.
At least 50 per cent was required for the recall to sail through.
