We wish to state without equivocation, that the bombing of the country home of the President General of Ohaneze, Chief Nnia Nwodo is highly condemnable, cowardly and unfortunate.
We were indeed very shocked and troubled when we received information of this ugly development.
However, we would want to state that this very dastardly act against Nnia Nwodo is an unwarranted provocation, and at the same time a well calculated attempt at making the safe and peaceful South East seem to be a terror zone.
The perpetrators of this cowardly act and their collaborators should be ashamed of themselves.
We therefore call on the security agencies to spring into action immediately in bringing these criminal elements to book.
Igbo Renaissance Forum would not relent in pushing for full, expedited and diligent investigation into this outrageous attack.
There is an urgent need for the Enugu state Governor and all the Governors in the South East to make this a priority and ensure that justice is done and does not tarry.
Igbo Renaissance Forum is standing solidly behind the Ohaneze President General, Chief Nnia Nwodo in these trying times and wish to extend our warmest regards to him and his family.
We shall be very proactive in our efforts to ensure that this case is not swept under the carpet. We ask for divine protection, guidance and guardianship for Chief Nnia Nwodo as he steers the ship of Ndi Igbo.
