Reports have revealed that Former President Olusegun Obasanjo is currently having a meeting with some prominent Yoruba leaders in Lagos.
DAILY POST revealed that the meeting is taking place in the home of Afenifere chieftain, Pa Ayo Adebanjo, in Lagos. Some of the yoruba leaders of the pan-Yoruba socio-cultural organization are said to be present in the meeting.
Prof. Akin Mabogunje, Mrs. Awolowo Dosumu, Pastor Tunde Bakare, Mr. Supo Shonibare and Mr. Yinka Odumakin are in the meeting. Others are Otunba Gbenga Daniel and Olusegun Mimiko, former Ogun and Ondo State Governors respectively,
Observers have said the meeting might be part of moves to forge a common front, ahead of the 2019 general elections and unseat Buhari.
