Demographics win elections not bigwig endorsements. The latter serves certain purposes. When crafting political messaging, every demographic has its appeal.
The most critical demographic right now are the 18-40 age range. Why? They constituted 40% of the votes in 2015.
When you have this information, the next step is to disaggregate it and find out who is who amongst this demographic.
Look at this my table below. I can tell you how many farmers, students , Civil Servant’s etc voted in the last election. Then structure message around each group.
This is why someone like me comes very expensive and why Red Media is good at what they do.
We do our homework. We spend money sourcing for data and hours purring over them.Don’t attack Moghalu for going for quality over noise. And no, you don’t wait to be candidate before framing your message.
The beauty of having many aspirants in the field is that it helps to galvanize your base and independents into seeing the party as an alternative. As individuals mount campaigns, driven by strong message, each one draws the voting public to the party.
When one emerges, the constellation of stars align to form an impregnable shield around the party.
By the way, I am not looking to handle anybody’s Campaign.I am committed to monitoring the electoral process towards ensuring that whoever wins does that not through a flawed process but one that is substantially credible, free and fair.
So, no, I won’t accept any offers but I will work vigorously for my party. This Caveat is to disabuse the minds of those who think I want to take food off the table for them. Trust me, my table is too full right now.
