Sir Marc Wabara, the APC senatorial Hopeful for Abia South senatorial district, expresses shock over the pipeline fire explosions that happened in Aba, Abia State over the weekend.
According to him, “the sad inferno that occurred at the early hours of friday 12th October, 2018, was a sad one to be experienced by this time of the year which is very close to the festive season.
“Many lives were lost; brothers, sisters, uncles,fathers,mothers and little children, including properties during this disastrous pipeline fire explosions at Umuimo and Umuadaruru in Osisioma.
“I must confess that the sad incidents made my heart bleed, i wept for the unfortunate victims of this horrible incident”.
He said it was unfortunate hearing this sad but avoidable incident and wishes to use this medium to sympathize with families that were affected bybinferno.
In all conditions or situations, we must not ask God why, but should always pray for guidance and protection from him, he stated.
Sir Wagbara also used the opporunity to call on the neccesary federal government agencies; NEMA,SDGs to look into this incident that happened in Aba, and fashion a way to assist the victims and those that have lost family members.
