The leading opposition party, Peoples Democratic Party, PDP has named the Director General of her presidential campaign team as well as the geopolitical zonal coordinators.
The spokesman of the Party, Kola Olagbondiyan
took to his Twitter account to makethe announcement. The nomination goes as follows,
The President of the Senate, Bukola saraki will be the Director General of Presidential Campaign Council
His Excellency, Aminu Tambuwal, the Governor of Sokoto state will be the Zonal Coordinator for NorthWest.
His Excellency, Dankwambo Guje, the Governor of Gombe State will be the Zonal Coordinator for NorthEast.
His Excellency, OrtomSamuel, the Governor of Benue State, will be the Zonal Coordinator for NorthCentral.
His Excellency, Dave Umahi, the Governor of Ebonyi State will be the Zonal Coordinator for SouthEast.
His Excellency, Nyesom Wike, the Governor of Rivers State, Will be the Zonal Coordinator for SouthSouth while
Governor Ayo Fayose of Ekiti State will be the Zonal Coordinator for the SouthWest.
HE Barr Kabiru Tanimu Turaki, SAN, one of the presidential aspirants, will be the Chairman, Legal Matters and
His Excellency, Udom Emmanuel, the Governor of Akwa Ibom, will be the Chairman, Fund Raising.
