Addressing traders and journalists at Ogbete Main Market and KpiriKpiri markets in Enugu and Ebonyi States respectively, the group’s Publicity Secretary, Nnaemeka ‘Nnaya’ Nwodo charged the traders to come out in their numbers to vote in 2019.
He informed them that the members of Dubem Onyia Youths for Atiku and many Youth Leaders from South-East Nigeria are in the markets to assist the general public with the knowledge about the importance of voting in 2019 general elections and voting for the best candidates.
He advised Nigerian youths to shun any form of electoral violence, to be peaceful and law abiding during and after the electioneering campaign period and promised that the DOYA will ensure that the public is knowledgeable of the voting process, the people who will be on the ballots and will go to all the states in South-East Nigeria to educate the new and potential voters on how to vote and be aware of their rights and responsibilities.
He tasked Ndigbo to vote for good leaders like Atiku/Obi who has a great vision of making Nigeria to work again because Atiku/Obi are poised to create an enabling environment to develop talents and also give all the regions the opportunity to grow.
He assured them that Nigeria will work again.
