The Movement of Biafrans in Nigeria (MOBIN) has reconfirmed its position on actualization of freedom for Biafra through legal methodology which involves political, legal and diplomatic processes. The reconfirmation was made by Anambra state Coordinator of MOBIN, Mr Gerald Izeji, in a telephone chat with Biafran news media recently. He said that Biafrans in politics will adopt all Biafran politicians. He
also stated that in positions where no Biafran politicians are contesting, other politicians that will support restructuring of Nigeria into autonomous regions will be adopted.
Biafran media crew also spoke with Obumneke Ejimnkeonye Okafor who is National Conscience Party’s (NCP) and Biafran’s candidate for Anambra central senatorial position in 2019 general election. The Biafran’s candidate stated that he is going to senate to work with lawmakers from other regions in Nigeria so that they will grant freedom in form of regional autonomy to all ethnic nationalities in Nigeria. Also, he stated that he will defeat the candidates of APGA, PDP and APC in 2019 poll because Biafrans have adopted him to represent Anambra central zone in senate.
Obumneke Ejimnkeonye Okafor, further, stated that Ndi Igbo and the entire Biafrans will vote massively in 2019 general election and that they have rejected election boycott that is being promoted by few Biafrans in diaspora who enjoy good leadership in foreign countries and want lawlessness and bad leadership for our people at home. He said that Biafrans in Biafran land and other parts of Nigeria will vote for good leaders and enjoy good leadership like our people in overseas and that the elected good leaders will also work for our freedom.
