The president of the Senate, Bukola Saraki has condemned what happened today in Kwara during the bye election in the state.
The Senate President lamented that the election was basically between PDP, Security agents plus APC.
He went ahead to say that if our elections will be characterised by this kind of actions, then the electoral process in the country is under danger.
Saraki stated this via his Twitter handle; ‘This is the first time that elections in Kwara State will be held under such charged, tensed and militarised conditions. We had INEC officials complaining about their own safety — and PDP supporters were brazenly intimidated, which resulted in low turn out of voters.
