Thank you ndi Enugu State for your massive support and show of solidarity while we hosted Mr. President as he flagged off our Presidential and Governorship Campaigns.
The surging ocean of human heads that turned out in and outside of the Nnamdi Azikiwe stadium to receive Mr President and our governorship candidate, Sen. Eze, was breathtaking and a bold testimony that Enugu people are truly sick and tired of the visionless political traders parading as government in Enugu State.
The mammoth crowd is enough evidence to show Ndi Enugu are prepared to embrace change and to strike a new deal that will usher in a new dawn.
We salute our people who thronged the arena to be counted in the epoch rally that marks the commencement of month long, sustained mass movement towards voting out a non performing incumbent who has nothing innovative to offer and who has proved his unpreparedness and lack of capacity to govern a model state like Enugu.
We congratulate our governorship candidate, Senator Ayogu Eze for a successful outing and his growing popularity and acceptance as a very credible alternative to the leadership plague and crisis of incompetence facing the state this past four years.
We congratulate the President for the renewed love between him and Ndigbo, especially Ndi Enugu and we reassure him of our total commitment to returning him to office through the ballots, by delivering more than 80% of votes from the state.
We also appreciate Mr. President and our National Chairman, Comrade Adams Oshiomole for their support and kind words on our candidate, Sen Eze, especially the trust, faith and confidence they reposed in his capacity to lead . We thank Mr. President for his admonition that Enugu people should wisely vote out the rudderless PDP government in the state and we thank him on his positive thoughts and preemptive felicitations with our candidate on his imminent victory.
We cannot thank you enough, all the National Working committee members of our great party, the APC, serving and past Governors, Ministers and Senators who came to witness an occasion that marks a watershed in the political history of Enugu state.
Ndi Enugu, it is time for a New Dawn, we promise you a better deal in Enugu State, we assure you our candidate will produce the leadership that the state truly deserves.
