The Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC has issues an official statement on the rumour surrounding the postponement of the Presidential and National Assembly elections scheduled to hold today.
In a press briefing, Prof. Mahmood Yakubu said “the election for the president and National Assembly has been postponed to 23rd February, 2019.”
The commission also shifted the governorship and state house of Assembly Elections to March 9th.
