The plateau state ninth house of Assembly has elected Hon. Abuk Ayuba, a 33year old 500Level law student as its speaker.
Hon. Ayuba who represents Jos East constituency is a student of University of Jos and was elected on Monday during the Assembly inaugural sitting.
Ayuba was elected by members of the assembly unanimously without any electoral process following a nomination by Hon. Ibrahim Baba-Hassan representing Jos North-North constituency.
In a speech, Hon. Ayuba appreciated his colleagues for the honor given to him to lead them and assured them not to fail them nor show any form of discrimination based on tribe, religion or political affiliation.
