Mr. President Buhari Sir,
The security situation in the hand has gotten out of hand. The people has been pushed to the wall. The nation is sitting on gun powder, that we cry about this and call on you to do something does not mean that we hate you. What we hate is your do nothing attitude towards these ugly events that has become a daily occurrence since you came into office.
We loved and supported Shagari and Yaradua and like you, they’re Fulanis, so we don’t hate Fulanis. But, when a leader does not show commitment and uses careless languages when those he led are being violently brutalized and killed. The people are naturally bound to develop negative vibrations as you are witnessing round the nation.
Zamafara people that voted for you and loves you as their own were the first to rush to the streets, crying and begging you to do something about the state of insecurity in their land. They did, because it reached a boiling point where they could not bear it any longer.
The same circumstance is repeating itself all round the nation. If nothing is done urgently it will reach a point were no one can bear it anymore.
Nigeria of 1966 is not Nigeria of 2019, in 1966, it was easy to close the boarders and place sanctions against Biafra. In 2019, most of those that fought on Nigerian side has witnessed a rough path that made them change their minds.
Closing the boarders will be difficult, from Lagos, Ogun, Adamawa, Cross Rivers, Rivers, Akwa Ibom and other boarder states, guns and weapons of mass destruction can easily follow into Nigeria within few weeks.
So, the only way to avoid this ugly scenario that will be force to play out if the state of insecurity continues, is to do something urgently to arrest it.
History beacons on you to stamp your feet on the sand of time now!
Call for a round table discussion involving all the ethnic groups on how to move forward.
Approve community police to help our forces that has been overwhelmed and overstretched.
There will be only oil funds to share if there’s a nation. Or else, most of these vultures parading self investors, will soon capitalize on our state of insecurity and pump in arms to help further destabilize the nation, in order to rape our natural resources.
It is already happening in Zamafara.
Do something now, before it becomes too late.
Nigeria is boiling.
