Following Monday’s subpoena issued to the INEC boss and the Resident Electoral Commission, REC, in Zamfara state and a report yesterday that the request to produce certain documents used in the 2019 presidential poll by the PDP has not been complied with by the electoral umpire, INEC today produced the materials requested by the PDP at the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal, PEPT.
The documents in question is the materials used by the electoral body to conduct the Presidential Election.
The PDP/Atiku is currently challenging the outcome of the 2019 presidential poll at the tribunal insisting that the conduct of the electoral umpire didn’t reflect the “independent” in their name and the fact that the process was mared by irregularities that denied them “their victory” at the February poll.
