At the resumed screening of the ministerial nominees sent by the president today, Friday, by the Senate, Dr. Osagie Ehanire the nominee from Edo State was absent when his name was called for screening.
Senate President, Ahmad Lawan, reported that Ehanire was absent and no reason was given for his absence.
The third day of the exercise, started with the immediate past Attorney General and Minister of Justice, Abubakar Malami.
26 nominees have so far been screened.
The Senate also adjourned the screening temporarily and will reconvene by 4pm.
