The councillor representing Nkpologwu ward, in Uzo-Uwani LGA of Enugu State, Hon. Princess Eziamaka Ezugwu has charged Nkpologwu residents to head home and maximize the opportunities that have been made available by the Governor, Rt. Hon. Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi.
Speaking to indigens of Nkpologwu under the auspices of “Nkpologwu Town Union” and “Nkpologwu Youths” resident in Nnewi, Anambra State on Sunday during their monthly meetings.
Speaking to the group, the councillor appreciated the groups for their painstaking efforts in ensuring that Gov. Ugwuanyi was reelected for a second term. She also encouraged them to maximize the opportunities that abound in Enugu State by moving some of their investments to the state.
“Your efforts during the last election can’t be appreciated enough, you left your various businesses and relocated to Nkpologwu to ensure that the candidates of our party, from the Governor, Senator and House of Assembly member emerged victorious. You went as far as contributing your personal funds to ensure our people are mobilized to vote for His Excellency.”
Going further, Hon. Ezugwu said; “our state is very peaceful and you all know in an atmosphere of peace, any business can thrive. Please come back to our state and invest too” she appealed.
“Enugu State SME Center is living up to their responsibility in the state courtesy of the Governor. You can also key into their programmes and set up your business in Enugu State. These and many more are reasons you should think of investing in Enugu State.”
“Our council Chairman, Hon. Fidelis Ani has been dynamic in his handling of our local government. You all know that our land is very fertile thus you can go into agriculture and be assured of bumper harvest” she advised.
