There’s a wild jubilation at Obom-Agbogugu, Awgu Local government Area following the news of the release of their traditional ruler, His Royal Highness, Igwe Sunday Orji and his wife.
The news of their release came in around 5PM on Wednesday, 7th August, according to Journalist101 correspondent that has been following the development.
Journalist101 couldn’t verify the condition for their release as the police spokesman didn’t take his call nor reply to text message sent to him as at press time.
But a close family source that doesn’t to be mentioned told our correspondent that ransom was paid for their release and when asked how much was paid, he said “Our traditional ruler has been released, we are so happy though ransom was paid but I’m not in position to tell you how much was paid.”
