The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has arrested two persons close to the candidate of the PDP in the last Presidential election, Atiku Abubakar.
Uyi Giwa Osagie, Atiku’s longtime legal Adviser and Abdullahi Babalele, son in-law to the former vice-president’s were reportedly taken into custody on Thursday evening, according to multiple sources familiar with the development.
Former aide to President Goodluck Jonathan, Reno Omokri, also confirmed the development via his twitter handle.

They were reportedly arrested after honouring an EFCC invitation in Lagos.
