The National Assembly Election Petition Tribunal, sitting in Osogbo, on Monday, 2nd of September, nullified the election of Mr. Bamidele Salam, who represents Ede Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party.
The tribunal cancelled elections in some units across four local government areas as a result of over-voting and ordered a rerun in the units.
In a related development, the state assembly election petition tribunal sitting on the same Osun state also declared the election of another PDP lawmaker representing Obokun State Constituency “inconclusive.”
