The leadership of the Movement for the Actualization of the Sovereign state of Biafra (MASSOB) have condemned the unwarranted genocidal attacks against foreign citizens residing in South Africa. This conscious and systematic killings of foreign nationals which much percentage of them are Biafrans are sponsored and motivated by the king of Zulu people of South Africa and backed by the federal government of South Africa.
MASSOB equally frowned at the low pace and insensitivity of President Buhari led federal government of Nigeria in dealing with the killings of his claimed citizens of Nigeria in South Africa. President Buharis’s adamant and unconcerned attitudes towards the killings of Biafrans in South Africa is borne out his pathological hatred and Islamic fundamentalism against the Igbo Christians.
How do the Igbos expect General Buhari to protect their lives and properties in South Africa from a sponsored xenophobic attacks against his perceived enemies, the people of Biafra? President of Nigeria is not clueless or lack political determination to act fast in protection of his citizens from any threats to their lives.
MASSOB remembered how fast Buhari acted with Zainab Aliyu in Saudi Arabia. His sister, Zainab Aliyu was arrested for trafficking tramadol and other hard drugs which contravened the laws of Saudi Arabia, President Buhari acted fast using both diplomatic and religious connection to secure her life. There are several effective diplomatic steps he could implement immediately against the government and peoples of South Africa if truly he was outraged by this xenophobic killings.
If South Africans were killing Fulani herdsmen or their cows or destroying the Fulani business ventures in South Africa, President Mohammed Buhari would have implement a speedy action both diplomatically and undiplomatic against the government and peoples of South Africa. He will immediately address the nation. The spirit of militarily, warmongering and Islamism in him will be boiling to the highest point of centigrade.
MASSOB advised Igbo political, religious, traditional, opinion and self determination leaders to stop believing or depending on President Buhari for the protection of the lives and properties of Ndigbo both in Nigeria and in diaspora because President Mohammed Buhari does not believe or will ever admit that Igbos are part of Nigeria. He always see Ndigbo as conquered Biafrans.
Also, President Buhari believe in the adage that says that “The enemy of my enemy is my friend”. What Ndigbo is currently experiencing in South Africa now is practically acceptable to President Mohammed Buhari.
The sheer closure of diplomatic ties between Nigeria and South Africa and recalling of their envoys are mere actions to deceive our people. No meaningful or acceptable results will ever comes out it.
In a few weeks, Nigeria and South Africa will resume their friendly diplomatic relationship against the blood of innocent and peaceful Igbo Biafrans.
MASSOB also noticed that the people of Arewa and their leaders have never condemned the xenophobic killings of Igbos in South Africa because the Fulanis and Hausas are not involved.
We boldly declare that no amount of xenophobic conspiracies or genocidal attacks against the people of Biafra or Ndigbo in particular will ever deter our spirits or motivational forces in us from actualizing the sovereign state of Biafra from this strange entanglement called Nigeria.
