The State Election Petition Tribunal sitting in Yola, Adamawa State State capital, has sacked the lawmaker representing Mubi North in the Adamawa State Assembly, Shuaibu Langaga of the All Progressives Congress.
Langaga was sacked by the tribunal for certificate forgery.
The member of state assembly had his election nullified on Monday, 23rd September on the grounds that he forged his first school leaving certificate.
The tribunal went ahead to direct the electoral body; the Independent National Electoral Commission to issue certificate of return to Suleiman Vokna of the Peoples Democratic Party.
Langaga however, said he will appeal the judgment.
