Yesterday, 28th September, 2019, the member representing the good citizens of Ezeagu Constituency in Enugu State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon Barr. Chima Obieze paid his last respect to his Father-in-law, Mr. Oliver Ifeanyichukwu Odueh.
Mr. Odueh, whom Hon Obieze described as “embodiment of ideas” was buried in his country home, Obeagu in Awgu Local Government Area of Enugu State.
The officiating Minster, Pastor Tony David in his message said; “Mr. Odueh is a man that loved God.” He also described him as a lover of peace.
The burial had all the political leaders of Enugu state in attendance including the Executive Governor of Enugu State, Rt. Hon. Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi, the immediate past Deputy President of the Nigerian Senate, Prof. Ike Ekweremadu and his Wife, the Speaker of Enugu State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon Edward Ubosi.
Others include; the lawmakers of Enugu State House of Assembly, the ALGON Chairman of Enugu State and Udenu LGA Chairman, Hon. Frank Ugwu, Ezeagu LGA Chairman, Hon. Fred Ezenwa, various LGA Chairmen, Ambassadors, Party leaders, friends and well wishers.
