The Nigeria Police Force have arrested and detained five of its officers for allegedly extorting N5,000 from a Lady in Ajah, Lagos state.
In a tweet by the Lagos state Rapid Response Squad, the officers were arrested on Friday after a complaint was made.
Our officers at Ajah extorted N5, 000 from a lady; our Ops officers went in search, arrested and detained them at Alausa Headquarters of the squad.“
They will be transferred to the headquarters on Monday for trial,” the tweet said.
