A Seventy-five year old man identified as Onoja Boniface have been arrested for defiling an eleven year old girl on the 30th of August, 2019.
The suspect who is a native of Ugbaike community in Enugu-ezike, Igboeze North LGA of Enugu state is said to be working as a security guard in the community’s secondary school.
The victim , Miss Ugwu chidozie Maryann was said to have been lured into the security guard’s room of community secondary school, Ugbaike, where the act was perpetrated.
Luck ran out of Mr. Boniface when he was caught by a patriotic citizen.
Responding to the allegation, the suspect begged for forgiveness saying he has been a security guard in the school for the past 20years and claimed he has never carried out the act before.
“This is act of Satan ,pls forgive me as I have not done this before”, he said.
The suspect who is currently in the police custody is helping the police in their investigation.
