A fully loaded petrol truck has broken down at the busy Holy Ghost round about, very close to Peace Mass Transit, less than 500 meters to Ogbete Main market.
Our correspondent who visited the scene reports that the 33-thousand petrol truck broke down very close to the round about and the drivers and some mechanics were seen trying to fix the truck which broke down since Friday.
Some traders in the area who spoke to our correspondent are afraid of a possible inferno as was the case of Ochanja market stressing that any leakage or heavy rise in temperature could lead to a disaster of monumental proportion.
Officials of Enugu State Capital Territory Development Authority, were seen at the scene and have tried to cordon off the area while traffic gridlock continues to build up.
Some of the traders are calling on the fire service department to quickly deploy their men to the scene as a precautionary measure in case of any emergency.
