The Enugu state command of the Nigeria Police Force said they have intensified manhunt on the abductors of Rev Fr Arinze Madu of the Queen of Apostles Seminary School, Imezi Owa in Ezeagu local Government Area of Enugu state with a singular mission of liberating the victim unhurt and arresting those responsible for his kidnap.
The Police Spokesman in Enugu, SP. Ebere Amaraizu while confirming the ugly incident said the operatives of the command will leave no stone unturned in ensuring that the Reverend Father is released.
It was gathered that the priest was allegedly abducted on 28/10/19 at about 5.50pm near the gate of the seminary school located at Imezi owa as he was driving out of the seminary premises.
The suspected hoodlums fired sporadically on the air before whisking the clergyman away.
