As the Governorship election commences in Bayelsa state, All Progressive Congress, APC has raised alarm over the alleged hijacking of Electoral materials in the state.
Yekini Nabena, Deputy National Publicity Secretary of the APC raised the alarm this morning claiming that thugs of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, have seized Electoral materials meant for Sagbama Area of the state.
He also claimed that the thugs are shooting sporadically in the area.
In a tweet, Nabena wrote this morning; “Material for Ward 3,4,7,9 and 11 have been hijacked to an unknown location by @OfficialPDPNig thugs at Sagbama. Sporadic shooting in the area as well by @OfficialPDPNig led thugs. @inecnigeria #BayelsaDecides.”
Reports coming from the state reveals that there are violence in some parts of the state especially the state capital as suspected gun men are causing panic in the state.
