The Guber and Kogi west rerun election which was characterised by heavy violence has continued to claim life of the electorate as the thugs operated without restrictions despite the huge deployment of Security operatives.
The latest victim is one Olorunjuwon, a nephew to one of the candidates for the senatorial rerun, Dino Melaye.
Journalist101 had reported yesterday that armed thugs invaded the polling unit of the PDP candidate shortly after he casted his vote, shooting sporadically and made away with the ballot boxes.
Writing via his twitter handle, Sen. Melaye said; “My nephew Olorunjuwon who was shot at my pooling unit yesterday died this morning.”
While describing the situation as a safe one, he said his death “is a Supreme sacrifice in the struggle for the liberation of our people. Rest in peace aburo… So sad.”

This makes the number of persons that was killed in Dino’s polling unit 3 as two had died on the day they were shot -saturday.
