Former President of Nigeria, Dr. Goodluck Jonathan on Sunday night received some governors and chieftains of the All Progressive Congress, APC, at his Otueke residence in Bayelsa state.
In photos that flooded the internet earlier this morning, the former president and his wife were seen receiving the APC members hours after the Bayelsa Governorship Election.
On the delegation were Jigawa State Governor, Badaru Abubakar, Kebbi State Governor, Atiku Bagudu, Ita Enang, Senior Special Assistant to the President on Niger Delta Affairs, among others.
The reason for the visit is still unclear as there are speculations going round social media that the former president might have supported the bid of the APC candidate, David Lyon.
JOURNALIST101 had reported last month that Jonathan and President Buhari held a closed door meeting at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
